I was very pleased and humbled to be invited to the One Laptop Per Child Australia Gala night. Have really enjoyed working with the team and seeing behind the scenes and all the hard work that has gone into this event.
The night was extra special as Prime Minister Kevin Rudd was able to make it to announce the changes to Tax benefits for OLPC sponsorship program. The night was amazing, a touch above the rest. The food amazing, the entertainment, and a large amount of money was raised to go towards furthering the laptop distribution in Northern Territory.
The OLPC Australia project is an important one to help reducing the education gap in Australia. http://www.laptop.org.au/
